Day 01 :

Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. Then you enjoy a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful wildlife destinations. The park lies beneath the Great Rift Valley Escarpment. It is famous for its lush forests, open grasslands, acacia woodlands, hot springs and the alkaline Lake Manyara.

Because of this remarkable variety of habitats, the park is one of the best places in Tanzania for wildlife viewing and birdwatching. During a full-day game drive, your professional safari guide also shares fascinating facts about the park’s unique ecosystem, conservation work and wildlife.

At midday, you stop for a delicious picnic lunch at a designated picnic area. After that, you continue your afternoon safari. In the late afternoon, you leave the park and drive to Ngare Lodge. There you can relax, enjoy dinner and spend the night in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature.

Day 02 :

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, you depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The area is also home to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact volcanic caldera on Earth. First, enjoy breathtaking views from the crater rim. Then you descend 600 meters to the crater floor for a full morning game drive.

Meanwhile, your experienced safari guide helps you explore this unique ecosystem and explains its geological history, diverse habitats and internationally recognised conservation work. Next, you enjoy a picnic lunch at the famous hippo pool before you continue exploring the crater.
