First, every 6-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Climb we run is tailor-made, so we can adjust the dates, accommodation and pace. In addition, our local team supports you from arrival to departure. Embark on an unforgettable 6-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Climb via the Rongai Route, one of the most scenic and peaceful trekking routes on Mount Kilimanjaro. The route approaches the mountain from the north, near the Kenya border. In fact, Rongai is the only trail that starts from the north. It is also famous for its quiet paths, gradual ascent and breathtaking wilderness.

For this reason, it is an excellent choice if you want fewer crowds and a unique view of the highest mountain in Africa.

Why choose the Rongai Route

The Rongai Route offers an outstanding balance between adventure and acclimatization. Because the ascent is gradual, you have a better chance of reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). At the same time, you enjoy the spectacular beauty of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park.

Along the way, you hike through lush montane forest, open moorland, alpine desert and volcanic landscapes. Finally, you reach the snow-covered summit of the Roof of Africa.

Another great advantage of the Rongai Route is its relatively dry climate. As a result, it is one of the best routes to climb during the rainy season.

Throughout the climb, our experienced mountain guides, professional cooks and dedicated porters support you. They provide excellent service, nutritious meals and daily health checks, so you stay safe and have the best chance of reaching the summit.

At Serengeti Wildlife Safaris, we are committed to creating unforgettable Kilimanjaro experiences. We also help climbers from around the world safely achieve their dream of standing on the highest point in Africa.
