Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. Then you drive for approximately 2–3 hours to Tarangire National Park, one of the most spectacular wildlife destinations in Tanzania.
The park takes its name from the Tarangire River. It is well known for its giant baobab trees, rolling savannah and seasonal wetlands. It also has one of the largest elephant populations in East Africa.
On arrival, you enjoy a full-day game drive through different sections of the park with your professional safari guide. Along the way, you learn about the unique ecosystem, rich biodiversity and ongoing conservation work of Tarangire. Next, stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot before you continue with an afternoon game drive.
In the late afternoon, you leave the park and drive to Ngare Lodge. Finally, enjoy a delicious dinner and relax in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature.
