Itinerary for Lake Manyara Day Trip

Morning Departure
First, your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. Then you enjoy a scenic 2-3 hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park through picturesque countryside.

Game Drive
When you arrive, you set off on a thrilling game drive across the park’s diverse ecosystems. Keep your camera ready, because elephants amble through the forest and lions lounge in acacia trees. You may also see troops of playful baboons.

Picnic Lunch
At midday, you enjoy a delicious picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park. Meanwhile, you take in beautiful views of the lake and its surrounding wilderness.

Afternoon Safari
Next, you continue exploring the park and look for more wildlife. You also visit the hippo pools, where you can safely observe these massive creatures up close.

Return to Arusha/Moshi
