Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Meet your professional safari guide before departing toward the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu area. Enjoy the scenic journey through northern Tanzania, with beautiful landscapes changing from agricultural areas to the vast plains of the Serengeti. As you approach the Southern Serengeti, begin your first game drive. During the calving season, the area attracts huge numbers of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles. This is the heart of your Great Migration experience. During the calving season, the short-grass plains become a nursery for the wildebeest migration. You may see mothers giving birth, newborn calves taking their first steps, and enormous herds moving across the plains. The abundance of young animals also attracts predators, giving you excellent opportunities to search for: Wildebeest and newborn calves, zebras and gazelles, lions, Elephants and giraffes, ostriches and other birds. Wake early for another full day exploring Ndutu and the Southern Serengeti. With another full day in the migration area, you have more time to follow the herds and explore different wildlife habitats. The morning provides excellent opportunities for photography, with beautiful light and active wildlife. Your guide will monitor wildlife movements and look for predator activity around the migration. You may encounter lion prides, cheetahs, hyenas and other carnivores following the herds. After a picnic lunch, continue your afternoon game drive, exploring the plains, seasonal lakes and surrounding areas. After breakfast, enjoy another full day in the Serengeti. Rather than leaving the Serengeti today, you will spend the entire day continuing your wildlife experience. This gives you additional time to explore areas where the migration and predators are currently active. Your guide will choose the best locations based on recent sightings and herd movements. You may encounter large wildebeest herds, zebras, gazelles, elephants, giraffes and buffaloes, while predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas may be found nearby. For bird lovers, the Serengeti also offers excellent opportunities to see raptors, vultures, ostriches, storks and colorful savanna birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive and continue exploring until the afternoon. Later, return to Serengeti Classic View for your fourth and final night in the Serengeti.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive as you leave the Serengeti. Continue toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, where the landscape changes dramatically from the open Serengeti plains to green highlands, forests and agricultural areas. Today is dedicated to experiencing the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands. Depending on the selected activity, you may visit a local community, enjoy a nature walk, explore the highland landscapes, or learn about traditional life in the area. After your highland experience, continue to Inoga Lodge in the Karatu area. Check in, relax and enjoy dinner at the lodge.

After an early breakfast, depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for a morning game drive across the crater floor. The crater is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife and provides an excellent final safari experience. Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and gazelles. With luck, you may also see the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before ascending and beginning your journey back to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or evening and say goodbye to your safari guide.
