Day 01 :

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Your 5-day Ndutu Calving Season Safari begins in the morning with a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and wildlife-rich parks. Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive through Tarangire’s spectacular landscape, characterized by ancient baobab trees, seasonal swamps and the Tarangire River. The river attracts wildlife throughout the year, making this an excellent place to begin your safari. During the game drive, keep your eyes open for large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, impalas, gazelles and numerous bird species. Tarangire is particularly famous for its elephants and offers excellent opportunities for wildlife photography. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park surrounded by the sounds and scenery of the African wilderness. Continue with an afternoon game drive before exiting the park and driving toward Karatu.
