Your 6 Day Serengeti Safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle. First, you travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Serengeti National Park. Then, as you enter the park at Naabi Hill Gate, your professional guide starts your first game drive. Straight away, you meet the incredible wildlife and breathtaking landscapes of the Serengeti.

Next, the drive continues across the southern and western plains of the Serengeti. These areas are known for abundant wildlife, such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and antelopes. You may also see predators such as lions and cheetahs. Along the way, you enjoy spectacular scenery and excellent chances for wildlife photography.

After an exciting afternoon game drive, you arrive at Serengeti Explorer by Elewana. The lodge sits on the Nyaboro Hills in the southwestern part of the Central Serengeti. It offers panoramic views across the endless plains, so it is an elegant place to relax and watch a stunning African sunset after your first day on safari.

Today you enjoy a full day exploring the southwestern and central Serengeti as part of your 6 Day Serengeti Safari. First, you set off on an early morning game drive, when predators are most active. This is an excellent time to watch hunting behaviour, predator-prey interactions and other dramatic wildlife activity.

Afterwards, you return to the lodge for breakfast. Alternatively, you can enjoy a bush breakfast in the heart of the Serengeti, whichever you prefer. After breakfast, your game drives continue through the southwestern and central Serengeti. Here permanent water sources support a rich variety of wildlife.

While you explore the plains with your professional guide, keep an eye out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other species.

In the afternoon, you can relax by the lodge pool. Or, if you prefer, continue exploring the Serengeti on a memorable sunset game drive.

After breakfast, your safari continues with a game drive on the way to Melia Serengeti Lodge. This move lets you explore new areas of the park and see as much wildlife as possible.

You arrive at Melia Serengeti Lodge in time for lunch. The lodge also has luxury rooms, an infinity pool and stunning savannah views.

Then, in the afternoon, choose between a relaxed game drive and time at the lodge.

Spend another full day in the Serengeti, exploring different areas depending on where the wildlife is moving. Your guide tailors the day so you see as much as possible, including the migration herds if they are in season.

We can also arrange optional activities, such as a hot air balloon safari.

Finally, you return to Melia Serengeti Lodge for dinner and the night.

After breakfast, you leave the Serengeti with a game drive on the way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the route, you enjoy scenic landscapes, and optional cultural visits are also possible.

Later, you arrive at Gibb’s Farm, a beautiful coffee plantation lodge known for its tranquillity and farm-to-table cuisine.

Then relax in the gardens, enjoy a farm walk or simply unwind.

After an early breakfast, you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This natural wonder holds a dense population of wildlife, such as lions, elephants, buffalo, flamingos and the rare black rhino.

Then you enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor. Afterwards, you drive back up the crater wall and return to Arusha in the afternoon.
