After breakfast, you leave Arusha for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife destinations on the 7 day Great Migration Safari route. First, the journey takes you through scenic countryside, local villages and Maasai communities. Tarangire is famous for its ancient baobab trees, vast landscapes and impressive elephant populations.

Once you enter the park, you begin a full-day game drive through diverse habitats, such as river valleys, open plains and acacia woodlands. Wildlife sightings may include elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas and warthogs, as well as numerous bird species.

At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by stunning scenery. Then continue your afternoon game drive while your guide shares insights about the ecosystem. Later, you leave the park and continue to Ngare Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Once you enter Serengeti National Park, you begin your first game drive across the endless plains. The Serengeti is one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations and home to the Great Migration. Depending on the season, you may see large herds of wildebeests and zebras moving across the savannah.

The park also supports abundant wildlife, such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes and gazelles. At lunchtime, enjoy a picnic in the park before you continue your afternoon game drive. Finally, as the sun sets, you arrive at Safari Haven for dinner and overnight.

Today you spend a full day of wildlife viewing in Serengeti National Park, a highlight of the 7 day Great Migration Safari experience. After an early breakfast, you set off with your professional guide. Together you explore different regions of the park while you track the Great Migration.

Depending on the season, you may witness thousands of wildebeests and zebras moving across the plains. The Serengeti also offers excellent predator sightings, such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and jackals. At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch before you continue exploring different migration hotspots. In the evening, you arrive at Sidai Camp for dinner and overnight.
