Arrive at Tarangire National Park and begin your safari with an exciting morning game drive. The park is famous for its dense elephant population, diverse birdlife and dramatic landscapes dotted with baobab trees. Here you can also expect sightings of lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and a wide variety of plains game.

Then, after lunch inside the park, you continue with a late afternoon game drive. At this time, wildlife activity increases as temperatures cool. Later in the evening, you transfer to your lodge for dinner and a restful night in a peaceful bush setting.

Once you finish breakfast, you leave Tarangire and travel toward Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, enjoy sweeping views of crater landscapes, rolling hills and Maasai communities.

In the afternoon, you arrive in the Serengeti and check in at your tented camp. Once you settle in, you can enjoy the surrounding wilderness. Alternatively, take an optional evening game drive to watch wildlife while the sun sets across the plains.

First, enjoy breakfast. Then head out for a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s richest wildlife ecosystems. During the day, you track the Big Five. You also look for cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras and large herds of herbivores moving across the plains.

At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch in the savannah. Meanwhile, your guide explains animal behavior, ecosystems and, when applicable, seasonal migration patterns. Later, you return to camp in the late afternoon for relaxation and dinner under the African sky.

Start the morning with an optional hot air balloon safari. It offers panoramic views of the Serengeti at sunrise, and afterwards you enjoy a bush breakfast. Alternatively, enjoy a morning game drive before you leave the Serengeti.

Next, travel through the Ngorongoro Highlands to your lodge near the crater rim. The rest of the day is free, so you have time to relax and prepare for tomorrow’s crater exploration.

First, after an early breakfast, you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. This natural wildlife sanctuary is home to lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos, flamingos and the endangered black rhino. In addition, the crater’s enclosed ecosystem offers exceptional wildlife density and great photo opportunities.

After lunch, you visit a nearby Maasai village to learn about traditional lifestyles and cultural heritage. Then, in the afternoon, you continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight. Finally, this marks the end of an enriching safari experience.
