Itinerary

Day 01 :

Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Discover Tanzania’s Elephant Haven

Your safari begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and striking baobab trees. First, you have an early breakfast and meet your professional guide. Then you set out on your first game drive through this wildlife-rich park.

Tarangire is home to lions, leopards, buffalos and over 500 bird species. So it is an ideal place for birdwatching and wildlife photography. After a picnic lunch in the wilderness, you head to Ngedere Lodge for the night. Finally, relax under the African sky with a delicious dinner and look back on the day’s sightings.

Day 02 :

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park – Witness the Iconic Great Migration

On the second day, you travel from Tarangire to the legendary Serengeti National Park. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s best-known safari destinations. During the drive, your guide explains the Serengeti ecosystem and the world-famous Great Migration.

When you arrive, you set off on an exciting game drive across the vast savannahs. Here you have the chance to see members of the “Big Five”, such as lions, elephants, leopards and buffaloes, in their natural habitat. The Serengeti’s varied landscapes also host an incredible range of wildlife and birdlife. Later, you spend the night at Seronera Camp, with good meals and the calm of the wilderness.

Day 03 :

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater – Explore the Enchanting Caldera

Start the day with a morning game drive in the Serengeti, among the wildlife and dramatic scenery that made this park famous. Afterwards, you drive towards Ngorongoro Crater through Tanzania’s lush highlands. The journey takes about 3-4 hours, and you may see more wildlife along the way.

When you arrive, you check in at Simba Campsite and relax for the evening. The Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Garden of Eden,” holds a dense concentration of wildlife. For example, endangered black rhinos, lions, hyenas, zebras and wildebeests all roam freely on the lush crater floor.

Day 04 :

Ngorongoro Crater – Full-Day Game Drive in the “Eden of Africa”

The highlight of your safari comes today, with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers superb wildlife viewing inside a unique volcanic caldera. Look out for lions, elephants, cheetahs, hippos and the elusive black rhino as they graze on the crater floor.
