This 10-day Africa safari and beach holiday combines the best of Tanzania’s northern safari circuit with a relaxing beach escape in Zanzibar. First, watch the iconic Great Migration in the Serengeti and visit local tribes. You also explore wildlife-rich parks, such as Tarangire, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. Then fly to Zanzibar to unwind on white-sand beaches, swim with dolphins and explore the spice island’s cultural gems.
After breakfast, set off for Tarangire National Park (about 2.5 hrs, 120 km). The park is known for its acacia woodlands, baobab trees and large swamps, which draw diverse wildlife during the dry season.
Here, expect to see large elephant herds. In addition, you may spot the rare Greater Kudu, Fringe-eared Oryx and Ashy Starlings.

Next, after breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park (30 km, about 30 min). Then enjoy a full-day game drive in a park famous for its shallow soda lake. It is also home to tree-climbing lions, elephants and flocks of flamingos.

Following breakfast, travel through the highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards the Serengeti (205 km, about 6 hrs). Once you reach the Seronera area, stop for lunch. Afterwards, enjoy an afternoon game drive.
