Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime 7-day Tanzania camping safari. First, you explore the iconic Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Then you enjoy a day hike on majestic Mount Kilimanjaro and finally visit Arusha National Park. This private safari offers close encounters with the Big Five and stunning landscapes. In addition, you get a taste of the highest peak in Africa.
After breakfast, your private guide drives you to Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and seasonal swamps full of wildlife. During full-day game drives, you search for lions, giraffes, buffalo and leopards. Also keep an eye out for tree-climbing pythons and more than 500 bird species.

After an early breakfast, you set off for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands. You arrive in time for an afternoon game drive across the endless plains. Here you may witness predators in action, as well as large herds of wildebeest, zebras and antelopes.

Today you spend a full day exploring the Serengeti ecosystem, one of the most celebrated wildlife areas in Africa. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration. You can also enjoy encounters with resident wildlife, such as cheetahs, hyenas, elephants and hippos, at river crossings or on the open savannah. At midday, you enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, and then your adventure continues until sunset.

Enjoy a morning game drive as you leave the Serengeti, with final glimpses of its wildlife-rich plains. On the way, you can stop at a Maasai village for cultural insights (optional). Then you continue to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There, you climb to the crater rim for awe-inspiring views of the caldera below.

Today you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in a single day. As you explore this natural wonder, you look for rhinos, lions, elephants, wildebeest and flamingos. Next, enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool. Afterwards, you return to Arusha in the late afternoon.

After an early breakfast, you drive to Marangu Gate on the eastern side of Mount Kilimanjaro. Then you begin your Kilimanjaro day hike through lush rainforest, where you may spot blue monkeys and unique plants. Later, you reach Mandara Hut (2,700m) to rest and enjoy lunch before you descend. In this way, the hike gives you a taste of Kilimanjaro without the full climb.

Finally, you end your safari in Arusha National Park, a hidden gem known for its lush scenery, flamingo-filled lakes and Mount Meru backdrop. First, you join a walking safari with an armed ranger to spot giraffes, zebras and warthogs on foot. Afterwards, you continue with a scenic game drive around the Momella Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater.

The package includes park entry fees, a professional guide and a 4x4 safari vehicle. It also covers accommodation, meals, bottled water and all scheduled game drives.
International flights, travel insurance, visa fees, tips and personal expenses are not included. The same applies to optional activities, for example hot air balloon rides.
The safari runs year-round. However, the best wildlife viewing is during the dry season (June to October), especially if you want to see the Great Migration in the Serengeti.
You can choose between mid-range lodges, luxury tented camps or budget options. All of them are clean and secure, and they are also near or inside the parks.
