Itinerary

Day 01 :

Arusha to Lemosho for Kilimanjaro Day Hike

Highlights:

Itinerary Details:

Early Morning Pickup: First, depart from Arusha or Moshi around 5:30 AM. Then drive approximately 2–3 hours to the Lemosho Gate (2,100 meters).
Registration: Next, complete the park formalities and meet your professional mountain guide.
Start the Hike: Begin trekking through the lush montane forest. The trail is rich in birdlife and colorful flora. In addition, you may see monkeys such as the black-and-white colobus.
Lunch Stop: Later, enjoy a packed lunch at a scenic resting spot along the trail.
Destination: Hike up to Big Tree Camp (Mti Mkubwa Camp) at 2,800 meters. Then relax briefly before you descend.
Return: Finally, descend to Lemosho Gate by late afternoon and transfer to your hotel near Kilimanjaro or Arusha.

Day 02 :

Arusha to Serval Wildlife Sanctuary Visit

Itinerary Details:

Morning Departure: After breakfast, you depart for Serval Wildlife Sanctuary. It lies in the Siha District, about 1 hour from Arusha.
Guided Tour: Next, explore the eco-friendly sanctuary. It is home to rehabilitated African wildlife, such as zebras, lions, giraffes, elands and more.
Wildlife Interactions: Enjoy safe and ethical interactions with some of the animals while experts supervise.
Lunch: Optionally, eat at the onsite restaurant, which serves fresh, organic meals.
Relaxation Time: Afterwards, spend time enjoying the beautiful scenery and serene environment.
Late Afternoon Departure: Finally, return to your hotel or continue your Tanzanian safari adventure.
