Itinerary

Day 01 :

Fly from Arusha to Ndutu – Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to the Ndutu airstrip. The flight offers beautiful aerial views of Tanzania’s landscapes and also saves valuable safari time.

On arrival, meet your professional safari guide and begin your first game drive through the Ndutu area. During the calving season, wildebeest and zebra herds fill the plains, while predators follow the migration in search of vulnerable young animals.

Next, explore the area around the lakes and open plains. Look for lions, cheetahs, hyenas, gazelles, giraffes and other wildlife. Then head to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 02 :

Full-Day Ndutu Calving Season Safari

Wake early for a full day of wildlife exploration in the Ndutu calving grounds, one of the highlights of your safari. First, explore the short-grass plains, where wildebeest gather in large numbers to give birth. Meanwhile, your experienced guide follows current wildlife movements and searches for newborn calves and predator activity.

You may encounter wildebeest, zebra, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, gazelles and other wildlife. With luck, you may even witness a wildebeest giving birth or a dramatic predator hunt. Later, enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness, then continue your game drive until late afternoon.

Day 03 :

Ndutu – Southern Serengeti Full-Day Game Drive

After an early breakfast, continue exploring the Ndutu and Southern Serengeti ecosystem. Your guide chooses the best areas based on where the migration herds are and on recent wildlife activity.

Follow the wildebeest and zebra herds across the plains while you search for predators and other Serengeti wildlife. The landscape also offers excellent photo opportunities, especially in the early morning and late afternoon when the light is ideal. Finally, return to African Safari in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 04 :

Ndutu Morning Game Drive – Fly to Arusha

Enjoy an early morning game drive, your final chance to experience the Ndutu Calving Season. Search for wildlife around the plains and lakes while you enjoy the peaceful morning atmosphere.

After the game drive, return to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Arusha. On arrival, meet your transfer driver, who takes you to your hotel or another agreed location.
