Itinerary

Day 01 :

Arusha – Southern Serengeti – Ndutu

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Meet your professional safari guide and depart toward the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu area in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle. Enjoy the scenic drive through northern Tanzania before entering the Serengeti ecosystem. As you approach Ndutu, the landscape opens into vast grasslands, acacia woodland and seasonal lakes. Begin your first game drive while heading toward your accommodation. During the calving season, you may already encounter large wildebeest herds, zebras, gazelles and newborn calves. Your guide will also look for predators such as lions, cheetahs and spotted hyenas that follow the migration. Continue to Serengeti ClassicView for dinner and overnight.

Day 02 :

Full-Day Ndutu

After an early breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive in the Ndutu migration area. Today is dedicated to experiencing the heart of the Great Migration calving season. The nutrient-rich short-grass plains attract enormous numbers of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles. You may see mothers with newborn calves, large herds moving across the plains, and young animals taking their first steps. The concentration of newborns also creates excellent opportunities to observe predator activity. Your guide will search for: Wildebeest and newborn calves, Zebras and gazelles, Lions and lion prides, Cheetahs, Spotted hyenas, Elephants, Giraffes, Raptors and other birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive. Your guide will follow current wildlife movements and select the best areas based on rainfall, grazing conditions and recent sightings. Return to Serengeti Classic View in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 03 :

Southern Serengeti

Wake early for another full day exploring the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu ecosystem.

Having a second full day in the migration area allows you to explore different locations and spend more time observing wildlife behavior. The morning is ideal for photography, when the temperatures are cooler and many animals are active. Follow the migration across the plains and search for predators resting near the herds or actively hunting. You may also encounter elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive. As the day comes to an end, return to Serengeti ClassicView for your final evening in the Serengeti.

Day 04 :

Ndutu – Morning Game Drive – Arusha

Wake early for your final Ndutu game drive. Enjoy one last opportunity to search for the Great Migration, newborn wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and predators before leaving the Southern Serengeti. Your guide will choose the best area based on current wildlife sightings, giving you the opportunity for some final photographs and wildlife encounters. After the game drive, begin your journey back to Arusha with a picnic lunch along the way. Continue through the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania and arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or evening. Your guide will drop you at your hotel, airport, or another agreed location.
