Itinerary

Day 01 :

Arusha – Serengeti National Park – Ndutu

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Meet your professional safari guide and depart for the Serengeti in a specially equipped 4x4 safari vehicle. The journey takes you through the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania. As you approach the Serengeti, the scenery opens into vast grasslands where wildlife can be seen along the route. Enter the Serengeti and begin your first game drive en route to the Ndutu area. After an early breakfast, head out for a full day of wildlife exploration in the Ndutu area. This is the heart of your Ndutu Great Migration Safari. During the calving season, the plains become a nursery for the migration. You may see wildebeest mothers with newborn calves, large herds moving across the grasslands, and zebras and gazelles grazing alongside them. The abundance of newborn animals also attracts predators. Your experienced guide will search for: Wildebeest and newborn calves, Zebras and gazelles, lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, giraffes, elephants, birds of prey. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive. The location of the herds naturally changes according to rainfall, fresh grazing and water availability, so your guide will adjust the game-drive route to maximize wildlife-viewing opportunities. Return to Safari Haven Migration Camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 03 :

Full-Day Serengeti – Ndutu Wildlife & Predator Safari

Wake early for another exciting day in the Serengeti. After breakfast, continue exploring the Ndutu plains and surrounding Southern Serengeti. Having a second full day gives you more time to search for wildlife and follow the migration rather than rushing from one destination to another. The early morning is particularly rewarding for photography and predator sightings. Your guide will carefully follow wildlife activity and may take you to different areas of the plains in search of lion prides, cheetahs, hyenas and large wildebeest herds. You will have time to enjoy the landscape, photograph wildlife and observe the natural behavior of the animals. After a picnic lunch, continue your afternoon game drive as the golden light creates excellent photography conditions. Return to Safari Haven Migration Camp for dinner and your final night in the Serengeti.

Wake early for your final Ndutu safari game drive. This is your last opportunity to explore the plains and search for the migration before beginning your journey back to Arusha. Enjoy a final morning game drive while looking for wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and predators. Your guide will choose the best route based on recent wildlife sightings and road conditions. After the game drive, begin your return journey through the Serengeti and continue toward Arusha. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way before arriving in Arusha in the late afternoon or evening.
