After breakfast, your professional safari guide will meet you in Arusha for a safari briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2–3-hour drive away. The journey passes through Maasai villages, open countryside, and beautiful landscapes before arriving at one of Tanzania's most scenic national parks. Tarangire National Park is famous for its enormous baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, rolling savannahs, and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the year. The Park also boasts one of East Africa's largest elephant populations and more than 550 recorded bird species. Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park while your guide explains its unique ecosystem, conservation efforts, and the importance of the Tarangire River to resident wildlife. Stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic location before continuing your afternoon safari.
