Morning:
Depart early from Arusha and join your group for an exciting journey to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. After a scenic 2-hour drive, enter the park for a full-day game drive.

Activities:

• Morning and afternoon game drives
• Spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 500 bird species
• Explore the Tarangire River ecosystem, a magnet for wildlife during the dry season

Meals:
Picnic lunch inside the park; dinner at your lodge or campsite.

Morning:
Early breakfast before driving to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to Africa’s highest density of wildlife.

Activities:

• 5-6 hour crater game drive
• Search for the Big Five: lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo
• Marvel at the diverse habitats: forests, lakes, open grasslands, and swampy areas

Lunch:
Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool.

Afternoon:
Ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon or early evening.
