When you arrive at Zanzibar International Airport or the ferry terminal, our professional driver and guide welcome you warmly. Then your Zanzibar adventure begins.

Your first stop is historic Stone Town, the cultural heart of Zanzibar and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the guided walking tour, you stroll through narrow streets lined with centuries-old buildings and bustling markets.

You also visit famous landmarks, such as the Old Fort, the House of Wonders (exterior) and the Old Slave Market. In addition, you admire the beautifully carved Zanzibari doors, which tell stories of the island's rich heritage.

After the tour, you then take a scenic drive to Tembo Kiwengwa on the east coast of Zanzibar. Finally, check in and spend the evening relaxing by the beach.

After breakfast, travel to one of Zanzibar's famous spice farms for an informative guided tour.

Zanzibar is known as the "Spice Island" because it produces cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, cardamom, turmeric and black pepper. While you walk through the plantation, you learn how farmers grow and harvest these spices. You also discover how locals use them in cuisine and traditional medicine. Along the way, you can smell, taste and identify a wide variety of spices, herbs and tropical fruits.

After that, return to your hotel for an afternoon of leisure. Swim in the warm Indian Ocean, relax on the beach or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Kiwengwa. For an additional cost, we can also arrange snorkeling, scuba diving, paddleboarding or a sunset dhow cruise.

Wake up to the sound of the ocean and enjoy a delicious breakfast overlooking the beach. Then spend your final morning with a leisurely walk along Kiwengwa Beach. Alternatively, soak up the tropical atmosphere or enjoy one last swim in the crystal-clear Indian Ocean.

Before you check out, you may relax at the resort or try an optional beach activity. This depends on your flight or ferry schedule.

Later, your driver transfers you to Zanzibar International Airport or the ferry terminal for your onward journey. So your memorable Zanzibar Island Escape comes to a close.
