Itinerary

Day 01 :

Arusha or Moshi Machame Gate Machame Camp

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha, Moshi, Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), or Arusha Airport (ARK). After a scenic drive to Machame Gate, you'll complete registration with Mount Kilimanjaro National Park before beginning your trek. The trail climbs gradually through a beautiful tropical rainforest filled with towering trees, giant ferns, waterfalls, and rich wildlife. As you hike, your guide will explain the mountain's ecology and point out unique plants and animals found only on Kilimanjaro.

After approximately 5–7 hours of hiking, you'll arrive at Machame Camp (3,000 m). Enjoy a freshly prepared hot dinner while taking in the peaceful surroundings before spending the night in comfortable mountain tents beneath the stars.

Day 02 :

Wake up to the crisp mountain air and enjoy breakfast while admiring the spectacular rainforest scenery. After packing your gear, begin your descent through the forest back to Machame Gate.

The descent offers another opportunity to appreciate the incredible biodiversity of Kilimanjaro National Park, spot wildlife, and capture beautiful photographs before meeting your driver for the return transfer to Arusha, Moshi, or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
