You arrive in Arusha, where your professional safari guide meets you and briefs you about the journey ahead. After a short introduction, you begin your drive toward Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you pass through scenic highlands and rural landscapes.

As soon as you enter the Serengeti, the safari begins. Your first game drive introduces you to vast plains filled with wildlife, such as giraffes, elephants, zebras and antelopes. Depending on the time of day, you may also spot predators such as lions resting or hunting.

Meanwhile, your guide tracks animal movements and takes you to different regions of the park, depending on wildlife activity. Expect large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants and giraffes. You also see birds and smaller species that complete the ecosystem.

At midday, you enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic bush location, surrounded by nature. After lunch, you continue with afternoon game drives, exploring new areas and searching for more Big Five sightings.

At midday, you enjoy a bush picnic or return briefly to camp to relax. Then the afternoon game drive continues across new territory, so your chances of spotting rare animals such as leopards or hyenas increase.

In addition, the Serengeti is a paradise for photographers, with golden light and dramatic scenery throughout the day.

When you arrive near Ngorongoro Crater, you check in at your lodge and relax. The cooler highland climate offers a refreshing change from the Serengeti heat.

Early in the morning, you descend into Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best wildlife destinations in Africa. The crater floor is home to an incredible concentration of animals, including the Big Five.
