After breakfast in Arusha, meet your safari group and driver-guide. Depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its massive baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. Spot lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and possibly leopards along the Tarangire River.
Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or campsite near Mto wa Mbu or Karatu.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive toward the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with optional stops at Maasai villages or viewpoints. Upon entering Serengeti, enjoy a game drive en route to the central plains (Seronera), where predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs roam freely.
Spend the entire day exploring the vast wilderness of Serengeti National Park, home to the Big Five and the spectacular Great Migration (seasonal). Depending on the time of year, you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras on the move. Game drives focus on tracking predators and visiting wildlife-rich areas along the Seronera River.
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before beginning your journey toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers more wildlife sightings and the opportunity to absorb the dramatic change in landscape. Reach the crater rim by evening for breathtaking views.
Today features a safari highlight: a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most wildlife-dense areas in Africa. Explore the crater floor during a half-day game drive, where you may spot black rhinos, hippos, lions, hyenas, and large herds of wildebeest. After the game drive, return to Arusha for the evening.
On your final day, take a short drive to Arusha National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic parks, known for its lush forest, Mt. Meru views, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a game drive and optional canoeing on Momella Lakes or a guided walking safari with an armed ranger for a unique bush experience. Return to Arusha in the afternoon.
