After an early breakfast at your accommodation our your driver will pick you up from your accommodation and drop you off at the airport ready for your flight to Arusha airport where on arrival ,your safari guide will meet you for pickup, and you'll begin your journey southwest toward Tarangire National Park — a scenic drive of approximately 1 to 2 hours through the rolling hills and rural landscapes of northern Tanzania.
Upon arrival at the park gate, you'll begin your first full-day game drive in one of Tanzania’s most underrated gems. Tarangire National Park is famous for its towering baobab trees, sweeping savannahs, and the largest concentration of elephants in northern Tanzania. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes a magnet for wildlife, attracting vast herds of zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, giraffes, and predators such as lions and leopards.
You’ll stop at a designated picnic site for a scenic lunch in the bush, surrounded by the sounds of nature. In the afternoon, continue your game drive through the park's diverse habitats, keeping an eye out for elusive species like cheetahs and even tree-climbing pythons.As the sun begins to lower over the baobabs, you’ll exit the park and head to your charming lodge nearby.

Upon arrival at the Serengeti gate, enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before beginning your first thrilling game drive inside the park. Keep your camera ready as you navigate through golden grasslands teeming with wildlife—herds of wildebeest and zebras, graceful giraffes, basking hippos, and predators on the prowl.

As you descend 600 meters into the crater, you’ll be immersed in a wildlife sanctuary like no other—an amphitheater of nature where the drama of the African savannah unfolds before your eyes. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot near a hippo pool, then continue your game drive, taking in the breathtaking scenery and wildlife until mid-afternoon.
After your crater adventure, begin your transfer back to Arusha, with time to freshen up if needed, before heading to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar.
Upon arrival on the island, you’ll be welcomed and transferred directly to your accommodation.
