Itinerary
After breakfast, your professional safari driver-guide from Serengeti Wildlife Safaris will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. Known for its large herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and beautiful landscapes, Tarangire is home to lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and tanner 500 species of birds.
Enjoy a full-day game drive with a fresh safari hamper lunch in the park before heading to your lodge for relaxation.
📍 Accommodation: Ngare Lodge – Comfortable mid-range lodge near Lake Manyara
After breakfast, drive through the lush Ngorongoro Highlands, enjoying scenic views and a glimpse of rural Tanzania. You’ll arrive at Naabi Hill Gate by early afternoon, marking the entrance to Serengeti National Park.
After registration, begin your first Serengeti game drive – a dream come true for wildlife lovers. The Serengeti is world-famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, as well as high chances of spotting lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and more.
📍 Accommodation: Shuhudia Adventure Camp – Tented lodge inside Serengeti National Park
Today is dedicated to exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move in search of greener pastures.
Even outside migration season, the Serengeti is packed with wildlife, offering incredible photo opportunities and a true feeling of the African wilderness.
📍 Accommodation: Shuhudia Adventure Camp – Inside Serengeti
Start your morning with a sunrise game drive – the best time to see predators in action. For an unforgettable experience, you can book a hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti (optional, extra cost).
After breakfast, you’ll drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in the afternoon to relax at your peaceful lodge near the crater.
📍 Accommodation: Hhando Coffee Lodge – Mid-range lodge near Ngorongoro Crater
Today is one of the highlights of your safari. You’ll descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich concentration of wildlife. The crater is the best place in Tanzania to spot the endangered black rhino, as well as lions, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, hyenas, flamingos, and more.
Enjoy a full game drive in the crater with a picnic lunch before heading back to Arusha or a drop-off at Kilimanjaro International Airport or your flight to Zanzibar.
