Your journey begins early in the morning when you’ll be picked up from your hotel by your Kilimanjaro guide. After a quick briefing and finalizing logistics, you’ll set off on a scenic drive to the Machame Gate in Kilimanjaro National Park. The drive takes about 45 minutes to an hour, giving you time to anticipate the adventure ahead.

Upon arrival at the gate, you'll complete check-in and registration, and then your hike to the Machame Hut will begin. As you make your way through the lush Montane Rainforest, the path will reveal a world of wildlife and natural beauty. Keep your eyes peeled for playful black-and-white colobus monkeys, acrobatic blue monkeys, tree hyraxes, and the striking white-necked raven. The hike to Machame Hut typically takes about 5 to 6 hours, providing plenty of time to marvel at the impressive flora and fauna along the way.

Once you reach Machame Hut, you'll take a well-deserved break to enjoy a delicious lunch, relax, and take in the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes.
