After a refreshing swim in the natural pool fed by the glaciers of Kilimanjaro, enjoy a delicious local lunch prepared by the friendly villagers. Afterwards, return to Arusha for an overnight stay at Zawadi House, ready for your next day's adventure to Tarangire National Park.
On Day 2, after a hearty breakfast, you’ll set off for the iconic Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large herds of elephants, often numbering in the hundreds. The park, which is home to diverse wildlife, offers a unique experience as you journey through its varied landscapes, from acacia woodlands to the river's edge. During your game drive, you’ll witness these magnificent creatures and other wildlife, such as zebras, giraffes, and a host of bird species. After enjoying a picnic lunch in the park, continue exploring until the evening, then retreat to the luxurious Serena Lake Manyara Lodge for a restful night in this serene setting, where you’ll prepare for the excitement of the Serengeti the following day.
Day 3 begins with a scenic drive to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. As you make your way through the beautiful Tanzanian countryside, you’ll pass fertile farmlands growing coffee, maize, and wheat, and pass by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where wildlife roams freely in one of the planet's most extraordinary ecosystems. Upon arrival in Serengeti, embark on a thrilling game drive across the park’s vast plains, home to a staggering array of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, and zebras. After a delicious lunch at Heritage Serengeti Lodge, continue your game drive into the park's other rich wildlife zones. As the day winds down, return to your lodge for a shower, dinner, and a peaceful overnight stay, eager for more wildlife encounters the next day.
Day 4 offers an action-packed adventure as you spend the entire day exploring the wonders of Serengeti National Park. With the guidance of an experienced safari guide, you’ll venture to the park’s most wildlife-rich areas, where you’ll observe thrilling predator-prey interactions, migration phenomena, and more. The Serengeti is known for the Great Migration, an awe-inspiring spectacle of wildebeests and zebras traversing the plains. After a mid-day break and lunch at the lodge, continue your game drive, ensuring you experience everything this extraordinary park has to offer. In the evening, relax and reflect on your adventures as you return to Heritage Serengeti Lodge for an overnight stay, ready for the next day's journey to Ngorongoro Crater.
On Day 5, after breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before heading to the remarkable Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most remarkable natural wonders in the world. Known as the “Garden of Eden,” Ngorongoro is home to the Big Five and countless other wildlife species, offering the chance for close-up encounters in a unique volcanic caldera. Upon arrival at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge, take some time to rest and enjoy the lodge's breathtaking views. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable day of exploration in the crater the next day, where you will witness incredible wildlife interactions and perhaps check off the final animals in your Big Five checklist.

You’ll also have the rare opportunity to get close to the active Oldonyo Lengai volcano, often referred to as the “Mountain of God” by the Maasai. Lake Natron’s mineral-rich waters provide a surreal, otherworldly setting, perfect for unwinding and taking in the natural beauty. After a day of exploration, your guide will escort you to Africa Safari Lodge for a restful overnight stay, reflecting on the extraordinary experiences of the day.
On Day 7, after a relaxing breakfast, begin your journey back to Arusha.
