Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Serengeti Wildlife Safaris representative will greet you and drive you to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you’ll have some time to relax. In the evening, you’ll meet with your safari guide for a briefing about your upcoming safari adventures.

After a hearty breakfast, your safari begins as you are picked up from your hotel and driven to Lake Manyara National Park (2-3 hours away). This park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, vast herds of elephants, flocks of flamingos, and other wildlife including zebras and warthogs. You will enjoy a game drive through the park and stop for a picnic lunch before continuing with your afternoon game drive. In the evening, we head to Jungle Peel Lodge for our overnight stay.

After breakfast, we set off on the journey to Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy views of the countryside with farms growing crops like wheat, coffee, and maize. Entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll witness stunning landscapes as you make your way to the Serengeti. Upon arrival, we embark on an afternoon game drive in this world-famous park. The Serengeti’s vast plains are home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and zebras. After an exciting day, we’ll stop for lunch at Moyo Tented Luxury, before resuming your game drive. In the evening, return to Moyo tented for dinner and rest.

After an early breakfast, we continue our game drive in Serengeti until lunchtime. Following lunch, we drive towards Ngorongoro Crater, known as the world’s largest inactive caldera. By the evening, we arrive at Ngorongoro Farmhouse for overnight accommodation.

Following an early breakfast, we descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an abundance of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, and leopards. The crater’s unique ecosystem supports various animals and birds in a stunning natural setting. After exploring the crater, we head back to the crater rim for lunch and then continue enjoying the breathtaking views. In the late afternoon, we begin our journey back to Arusha, where you’ll spend the night at Forest Hill Hotel.

After breakfast at Forest Hill Hotel, we drive to Materuni at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Here, you’ll participate in a coffee tour, where you can see everything from harvesting to roasting the beans. You’ll also enjoy a short hike to the Materuni Waterfalls (about 45 minutes). After experiencing the falls, you’ll return to the village to enjoy traditional Chagga cuisine prepared by local people. After this cultural immersion, you will be driven back to Arusha, or straight to the airport for your departure, depending on your flight schedule.
