Tour Plan
Your adventure begins with a smooth hotel pick-up in Zanzibar and a transfer to the airport, where you’ll board a direct flight to Serengeti. You’ll arrive at the Seronera Airstrip around 10:30–11:00 am, where your experienced safari guide will be waiting to take you on a thrilling full-day game drive. Serengeti, famous for its vast plains and incredible predator sightings, is home to the world’s largest concentration of wildebeest and zebra, making it an unmatched destination for wildlife enthusiasts. As you explore the park, enjoy a delightful picnic lunch amidst the savannah, with panoramic views of the animals around you. After lunch, continue your game drive, and later head to Marera Lodge for a peaceful evening of relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, you’ll embark on another exciting game drive in Serengeti, in search of the Big Five and other remarkable wildlife. The Serengeti’s endless landscapes provide ample opportunity to encounter lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, and more. After a fulfilling morning of game viewing, you’ll return to the lodge for a hot lunch before continuing your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. As you travel towards the Ngorongoro Crater rim, take in the stunning views of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is often referred to as "Africa's Garden of Eden." Upon arrival, check-in at Marera Valley Lodge for a full-board stay, where you can unwind and enjoy the lodge’s peaceful surroundings in anticipation of another unforgettable day of safari adventures.
Following an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most unique wildlife sanctuaries. With its towering volcanic walls and lush, fertile floor, the crater is home to an abundance of animals, including the elusive black rhino. The morning game drive will take you on a journey through this breathtaking natural wonder, where you’ll spot everything from elephants to lions, zebras to wildebeest. During the afternoon, you’ll stop at the famous hippo pool for a scenic lunch with incredible views of the resident hippos. After lunch, the game drive continues as you explore the crater floor further. In the late afternoon, you’ll ascend from the crater and head towards Lake Manyara National Park, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Jungle Pearl Lodge in the vibrant town of Mto Wa Mbu.
On the final day of your safari, enjoy an early breakfast before departing for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most captivating wildlife destinations. Known for its towering baobab trees and vast herds of elephants, Tarangire offers exceptional game viewing, especially around the Tarangire River, a vital water source for animals during the dry season. As you drive through the park, you’ll have the chance to see large herds of elephants, as well as lions, leopards, Cape buffalos, and a wide range of antelope species. If you’re lucky, you might even spot rarer species such as the greater kudu, fringe-eared oryx, or the elusive wild dog.
