Terms & Conditions for Your African Adventure

We're thrilled you're considering an unforgettable journey with Serengeti Wildlife Safaris. To ensure a seamless and incredible experience for everyone, please review our terms and conditions below.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1. All bookings are confirmed only after Serengeti Wildlife Safaris (hereafter "the Company") receives a deposit of 30% of the total tour cost, unless otherwise stated.
1.2. The balance payment must be made at least 30 days before the start date of the safari or climb.
1.3. Bookings made less than 30 days before departure require full payment at the time of booking.
1.4. Payments are non-refundable if the booking is canceled less than 30 days before the start date.
1.5. Payments can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, or online payment as communicated by the Company.

2. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. All cancellations must be sent to us in writing (email is perfect).

More than 60 days Full refund, less a 10% administrative fee
30 – 59 days 50% refund of the total amount paid
Less than 30 days No refund available

Please Note: Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for no-shows, unused services, or if you choose to depart the tour early.

3. Flexibility & Itinerary Changes

The wild is unpredictable, and so sometimes our plans must be too. We reserve the right to alter routes, accommodations, or services due to factors like weather, park regulations, or flight changes.

Our Promise: We will always communicate any changes as early as possible and make every effort to provide an equivalent or better alternative for your adventure.

4. Your Safety & Responsibility

Inherent Risks: Participating in safaris and mountain climbs involves inherent risks, including encounters with wildlife, altitude sickness, and accidents.
Our Commitment: Your safety is our top priority. We take all reasonable precautions; however, we cannot accept liability for personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to property.
Travel Insurance is Essential: We strongly advise that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and personal effects.

5. Health & Fitness for Climbing Adventures

Climb Prepared: Clients attempting Mount Kilimanjaro or Meru must be in good physical condition.
Safety First: For your safety and the team's, we reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed medically unfit for a climb.
Consult a Doctor: We highly recommend seeking medical advice before undertaking any high-altitude trek.

6. Travel Documents

It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport, all necessary visas, vaccinations, and other required entry documents for Tanzania. We are not liable for any losses due to incomplete documentation.

7. Respect for Nature

We are passionate about preserving the pristine beauty of Tanzania.

Always follow your guide's instructions and park regulations.
Disturbing wildlife, littering, or causing environmental damage is strictly prohibited.

8. Unforeseen Circumstances (Force Majeure)

We cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, war, pandemics, government restrictions, or major flight cancellations.

9. Feedback & Resolution

We are committed to your satisfaction.

Immediate Action: Please report any complaints to your guide or our office immediately during your trip so we can resolve them promptly.
Dispute Resolution: Any unresolved disputes will be settled amicably or, if necessary, under the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking and submitting your payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the Terms and Conditions outlined above.
