Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a friendly staff member from Serengeti Wildlife Safaris will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for rest and relaxation after your journey. Your 7-Day Migration Safari begins here.

If your arrival time permits, enjoy a complimentary city tour of Arusha, exploring its vibrant markets, cultural sites, and the majestic views of Mount Meru.

After breakfast, your safari adventure kicks off with a drive to Tarangire National Park—about a 3-hour journey from Arusha. You'll spend the day on thrilling game drives, exploring the park's expansive landscapes dotted with iconic baobab trees and the life-giving Tarangire River.

Expect to see large herds of elephants, as well as lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, and the unique tree-climbing pythons. The park is also a paradise for bird watchers, hosting over 500 bird species.

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, traveling through the stunning Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy scenic views and perhaps spot wildlife even before you enter the park.

Arriving in Serengeti around mid-afternoon, you'll head straight for an evening game drive in the Central Serengeti. This is your first chance to encounter the Great Migration—millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles moving across the plains, trailed by predators. Your 7-Day Migration Safari adventure continues in the heart of the Serengeti.

Start your day with an early breakfast before embarking on a full-day safari in the Northern Serengeti, following the paths of the Great Migration. Depending on the season, you'll witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras as they cross the Mara River, a dramatic event where predators like crocodiles and lions await.

Besides the migration, the Serengeti is home to cheetahs, elephants, hippos, and a rich diversity of wildlife and landscapes.

Wake up early to enjoy a sunrise game drive, one of the best times to see predators in action before the sun warms the plains. After brunch back at the camp, you'll pack up and continue with a scenic game drive en route to Ngorongoro Crater.

You'll reach the Crater Rim campsite by evening, where you'll enjoy dinner and rest with breathtaking views overlooking the crater below.

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the Big Five—lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo. The crater's unique ecosystem also supports flamingos, hippos, and countless bird species.

You'll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while surrounded by wildlife and stunning vistas. After a full day of exploration, ascend from the crater and return to Arusha for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, a staff member from Serengeti Wildlife Safaris will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your onward journey.
