Tour Plan
Your safari begins with an early morning breakfast, followed by a meet-and-greet with our professional safari guide. You will board a luxurious safari jeep and head towards the famous Tarangire National Park, known as the “Home of Elephants.” Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, with around 300 elephants often seen grazing along the dry riverbeds in search of water. As you explore the park, you’ll witness a variety of wildlife, including zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes, as well as an incredible diversity of bird species. Your game drive will continue until lunchtime when a picnic will be served at a designated site. Afterwards, your safari continues, with sightings of animals and the park’s beautiful landscapes. In the evening, you will be driven to Marera Valley Lodge, your accommodation for the night, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner.
After breakfast, your safari will continue with a journey to Serengeti National Park, one of Africa's most famous wildlife reserves. Along the way, you will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will catch glimpses of traditional farms cultivating crops such as coffee, maize, and wheat. Upon arriving at Serengeti, you will embark on an exciting game drive across the park’s expansive plains, home to the “Big Five” — lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo. Serengeti’s vast landscapes offer unparalleled wildlife sightings, from majestic lions lounging on the grasslands to cheetahs sprinting at incredible speeds. In the afternoon, your guide will take you to Moyo Lodge for a relaxing lunch before continuing the game drive. The day will end with your return to the lodge for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 3 promises another thrilling adventure in Serengeti, with a full day dedicated to exploring the park’s wildlife-rich terrain. After a hearty breakfast, your expert safari guide will take you to various parts of the park, ensuring you get the most out of your experience. Expect to encounter a diverse range of animals, from herds of wildebeests migrating across the plains to elephants crossing the savannah. The Serengeti’s ecosystem is a paradise for wildlife lovers, with dramatic landscapes that change with every turn. You will return to Moyo Lodge for lunch, then continue with the game drive in the afternoon, ensuring that you experience the park's wildlife in full. As the sun sets, you will return to the lodge to unwind, enjoy dinner, and prepare for another day of safari adventures.
On Day 4, after a refreshing breakfast, you will continue your journey through Serengeti National Park, spotting wildlife as you go. Around lunchtime, you will depart for Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its abundant wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Ngorongoro is the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera, and its floor is home to a variety of animals, including the endangered black rhino. Upon arrival, you will be driven to your accommodation at Ngorongoro Melia Lodge, where you will check-in and enjoy an evening of relaxation in preparation for the next day’s adventure.
On Day 5, your day begins with a filling breakfast at the Ngorongoro Melia Lodge, located on the rim of the crater. After breakfast, your guide will take you on an exhilarating descent to the crater floor, where you will encounter an abundance of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, and hippos. The Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as the “Garden of Eden” due to its lush vegetation and high concentration of animals. This is one of the best places to spot the Big Five, and you may even witness a dramatic predator-prey interaction. After a fulfilling game drive, you will enjoy lunch in a scenic spot and then continue your exploration of the crater rim. In the late afternoon, your guide will drive you back to Arusha for an overnight stay at Forest Hill Hotel, where you can relax and reflect on your unforgettable safari experiences.
On the final day of your luxury Lion King Safari, you will visit the beautiful Arusha National Park, located just outside the town of Arusha. The Park is home to diverse wildlife, including giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, and hippos. Your guide will take you on a scenic game drive through the park, where you will also enjoy views of Mount Meru, the second-highest mountain in Tanzania. After a delightful lunch at the Momela Gate, you will continue with the game drive until the evening, when it will be time to return to Arusha town. Depending on your schedule, you will be transferred either to your hotel or the airport for your onward journey. This safari will give you an immersive experience in the heart of Tanzania’s wildlife, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.
